December 12, 2018 Meeting began at 6:40pm Financial Update: $14,386.00 as of 12/06/18 $ 1,600.00 Tamales Sales 101 students have paid Senior Dues. Expenses: $2,000.00 deposit to Main Event $ 500.00 deposit to Quail Valley City Centre Goal is $30,000.00 *Must leave $2,500.00 in the bank for next year's ProGrad* Our Spirit Night scheduled for Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Chick Fil A located at 2330 Hwy 6 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm resulted in $47.08 / 20% of all sales receipts collected. Our next Spirit Night has not yet been scheduled. Possible locations suggested were Raising Cane's, Guru Burgers & Crepes, Jupiter Pizza & Waffles. Our next Fundraiser will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Kendra Scott store in Sugar Land, TX. January Birthdays receive 50% off their purchases. 20% of all sales receipts will be collected and donated to DHS ProGrad. Main Event contract signed / $2,000.00 deposit made. Extra Activities to be determined. Quail Valley City Centre contract signed / $500.00 deposit made. Menu chosen. Dinner / Auction set for Friday, February 15, 2019 6:00pm - 9:00pm Update made by Julie Keeping the Boots & Bling theme Flyer is almost completed to be sent out. Date to start selling tickets is to be determined. Auction Items and Vendor list has been created. It was suggested to add to the DHS ProGrad website to view and to be sent out in order to obtain more Auction Items as well as to avoid asking vendors already on the list. Online Fundraiser: Park Lane Jewelry - 50/50 split Share link through this week and possibly next week. Pizza Sales resume Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Looking to switch with another Club the May 1st date since it is Senior Trip Day. There is a Facebook page called Fort Bend ISD Concerns - we are looking to post announcements as it gets lots of views. There is a Custodian Fund we are looking to participate in since DHS ProGrad has not participated in the past. DHS has 12 custodians. Diamond in the Rough is a vendor with celebrity memorabilia and we are looking to have participate in the Dinner / Silent Auction. They ask for 3 tables with 25-30 items. We may possibly have an online fundraiser with them as well. Meeting adjourned at 7:20pm Afterwards, LaTonya L. Mathis / Independent Beauty Consultant spoke of her ties with Dulles HS and also her Mary Kay Beauty Products. She has donated a basket for the Dinner / Silent Auction and brought additional gift sets & baskets to purchase. LaTonya also had her business cards and brochures available for us. |
